Melissa Williams

Melissa has almost 20 years of experience in program evaluation and research administration. Her background includes all aspects of project management, evaluation, technical assistance and client services. She has worked on multiple state and federally funded evaluations for programs, including Race to the Top, 21st Century Learning Centers, and School Improvement Grants. In addition to her evaluation work, Melissa has managed several research and technical support projects, primarily working with educators and policymakers to improve education in the face of a growing urban-rural divide and increasing income and educational inequality. She is passionate about supporting colleagues and clients as they implement projects, assess progress and realize change. 

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from University of Mary Washington and a Master of Arts in general experimental psychology from the College of William & Mary. 

When not working, Melissa and her husband enjoy shuttling their kids, Owen and Helen, to various sports practices and being their #1 cheering section at games and competitions.
