Ozy Aloziem

Ozy is a nationally recognized change leader with more than a decade of experience in social justice and racial equity work. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including program director, facilitator, evaluator, consultant, professor, researcher and trainer. No matter the role, she always prioritizes creating space for learning, healing and joy. Ozy is dedicated to partnering with organizations to cultivate healing-centered, equity-driven cultures, ensuring that individuals and teams are supported and thrive. As a systems-thinker, Ozy deeply integrates process and embodiment into her work, striving to make change both holistic and human-centered. Her work intentionally weaves together racial justice, social well-being and healing, particularly through community-based participatory action research.
Ozy holds a Master of Social Work with a concentration in organizational leadership and policy practice from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and anthropology, with a minor in women’s and gender studies from Creighton University.
She splits her time between Denver and Mexico City, where she enjoys exploring local cultures and learning Spanish. When not working, you can find her reading from her vast library of over 1,200 books, cuddling with her cat Mushu, writing and performing poetry, or indulging in chicken wings.
